Win32_PerfRawData_Tcpip_NetworkInterface jscript sample code

The foundations for Manageability in Windows is Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI; formerly WBEM) and WMI extensions for Windows Driver Model (WDM).

ActiveXperts Network Monitor provides the ability to build monitor check routines based on WMI. ActiveXperts has collected more than a hundred WMI samples. You can use these samples as a base for new check routines you can write yourself. The Win32_PerfRawData_Tcpip_NetworkInterface WMI class can be used in ActiveXperts Network Monitor to monitor your servers.

Description

The Win32_PerfRawData_Tcpip_NetworkInterfaceraw data performance counter class represents raw data counters that measure the rates at which bytes and packets are sent and received over a TCP/IP network connection. It includes counters that monitor connection errors. This class is shown as the Network Interface object in System Monitor. The WMI source of its data is the high-performance Performance Counter Provider. The original data source is the Tcpip performance library. The corresponding formatted data class is Win32_PerfFormattedData_Tcpip_NetworkInterface. This class was added for Windows 2000.
