Microsoft Exchange Unified Messaging General Performance counters

There are many performance counters that can be used to maintain and troubleshoot a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Unified Messaging (UM) server. Unified Messaging performance counters measure quantities of information or data for Unified Messaging based on the number, size, duration, and rate of data that's being requested or received. Counter Name Description
Counter Name: % Successful Caller ID Resolutions Description: % Successful Caller ID Resolutions is the percentage of caller IDs that were resolved successfully.
Counter Name: % Successful Extension Caller ID Resolutions Description: % Successful Extension Caller ID Resolutions is the percentage of successful attempts to resolve caller IDs that contained no "@" or "+" signs and were of the same length as the dial plan's extension. This counter is used only for TelExtn dial plans.
Counter Name: Average Call Duration Description: Average Call Duration is the average duration, in seconds, of calls since the service was started.
Counter Name: Average MWI Latency Description: Average MWI Latency is the average time, in milliseconds, from the moment a voice mail event occurs and Unified Messaging receives confirmation from the IP gateway that the message was delivered. This average is calculated over the last 50 messages.
Counter Name: Average Recent Call Duration Description: Average Recent Call Duration is the average duration, in seconds, of the last 50 calls.
Counter Name: Call Duration Exceeded Description: Call Duration Exceeded is the number of calls that were disconnected because they exceeded the UM maximum call length. This number includes all types of calls, including fax calls.
Counter Name: Caller ID Resolutions Attempted Description: Caller ID Resolutions Attempted is the number of caller ID resolutions that were attempted.
Counter Name: Caller ID Resolutions Succeeded Description: Caller ID Resolutions Succeeded is the number of caller IDs that were resolved successfully.
Counter Name: Calls Disconnected by User Failure Description: Calls Disconnected by User Failure is the total number of calls disconnected after too many user entry failures.
Counter Name: Current Auto Attendant Calls Description: Current Auto Attendant Calls is the number of auto attendant calls that are currently connected to the UM server.
Counter Name: Current Calls Description: Current Calls is the number of calls that are currently connected to the UM server.
Counter Name: Current Fax Calls Description: Current Fax Calls is the number of fax calls that are currently connected to the UM server. Voice calls become fax calls after a fax tone is detected.
Counter Name: Current Play on Phone Calls Description: Current Play on Phone Calls is the number of outbound calls initiated to play back messages.
Counter Name: Current Prompt Editing Calls Description: Current Prompt Editing Calls is the number of logged on users who are editing custom prompts.
Counter Name: Current Subscriber Access Calls Description: Current Subscriber Access Calls is the number of logged on subscribers who are currently connected to the UM server.
Counter Name: Current Unauthenticated Pilot Number Calls Description: Current Unauthenticated Pilot Number Calls is the number of voice calls to the pilot number that have not yet been authenticated.
Counter Name: Current Voice Mail Calls Description: Current Voice Mail Calls is the number of voice mail calls that are currently connected to the Unified Messaging server.
Counter Name: Delayed Calls Description: Delayed Calls is the number of calls that experienced one or more delays longer than 2 seconds.

Counter Name: OCS User Event Notifications Description: OCS User Event Notifications is the total number of OCS user event notifications that occurred since the service was started.
Counter Name: Total Calls Description: Total Calls is the number of calls answered or placed since the service was started. Transfers are not included.
Counter Name: Total Calls per Second Description: Total Calls per Second is the number of new calls that have arrived in the last second.
Counter Name: Total Play on Phone Calls Description: Total Play on Phone Calls is the total number of Play on Phone calls that have been initiated since the service was started.
Counter Name: User Response Latency Description: User Response Latency is the average response time, in milliseconds, for the system to respond to a user request. This average is calculated over the last 25 calls. This counter is limited to calls that require significant processing.
