ActiveXperts Software B.V., announces a global rename of its toolkit product titles. Also, changes have been applied to namespaces and ID's in all software toolkits,
to offer a more consistent way to access the objects in any of our toolkits.
By renaming and restructuring these product, we hope to further improve the way customers find the sofware they need on the ActiveXperts website.

The SMPP protocol stack has been rewritten in order to gain maximum performance and compatibility. The product has improved support for a wide variety of GSM modems.
The product has many compatibility and performance enhancements. There are many user interface enhancements on the Manager application.

July 29, 2011 - ActiveXperts is working on a new build of its Mobile Messaging Toolkit.
ActiveXperts is working on a new build of its Mobile Messaging Toolkit. In this new build, SMTP and POP3 will be included, to support e-mail messaging.
Sirp Potijk, lead of development of ActiveXperts, says: "The mail protocols will support all enhanced mailing features, including Unicode, embedded attachments and secure communications (TLS/SSL). You'll be able to load and save .eml files. This allows you to save messages received by ActiveXperts and use it in other mail clients, and visa-versa. Samples will be provided for C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, HTML, PHP, Javascript, Delphi, PowerShell and more."
ActiveXperts expects to release by the end of August 2011.

Today, ActiveXperts Software introduced ActiveXperts Mobile Messaging Toolkit.
ActiveXperts Mobile Messaging Toolkit is a new product introduced by ActiveXperts Software. This product is the successor of the SMS & MMS Toolkit. With this product, ActiveXperts aims to provide companies with a fast, reliable and easy to use toolkit for sending out and receiving SMS and Pager messages.
The product runs on Windows 2008/2008 R2/2003/7/Vista/XP in both 32bit as 64bit. It can be used with various development tools, including Visual Basic .NET, Visual C# .NET, Visual Basic, Visual C++, ASP .NET, ASP, PHP, VBScript, Borland Delphi, Borland C++ Builder and JavaScript.

For the just completed Haitian Presidential Election, 1.3 million Haitian citizens, or 54% of the citizens who voted, utilized SMS to locate their voting centers successfully.
This service was provided by Votident Elections Services utilizing the ActiveXperts SMS Messaging Server.

March 8, 2011 - ActiveXperts published a new build of SMS Messaging Server including a Bulk SMS Wizard
ActiveXperts today released a new build (5.2.11.0308) of its ActiveXperts SMS Messaging Server product.
The build is a feature update: it includes a Bulk SMS Wizard. With this wizard, uses can use an external data source to send out SMS messages.
Amongst the external data sources are: MS Excel, MS Access, MySQL, MS SQL Server, MS SQL Express Edition and CSV text files.

To improve the experience of our trial users we have introduced the ActiveXperts Demo SMS Gateway. This is our own in-house developed gateway which supports incoming SMPP as well as HTTP connections. The gateway is intended to facilitate our trial users in getting started with the SMS Messaging Server. To connect to the ActiveXperts Demo Gateway and start sending and receiving SMS Messages to and from your own mobile number you can download our trial version here. And use the Channel to set up a new SMPP or HTTP account. The default settings will connect you to our gateway.

January 13, 2010 - ActiveXperts provides automated SMS system to register victims of the earthquake, Haiti
After the earthquake on January 12 2010, ActiveXperts Software (Hengelo, NL) and Votident (an ActiveXperts partner since the elections in Haiti in 2009) setup an SMS-based system within 24 hours to register people through SMS short-code '200'.
People are urged to SMS the status of a relative or friend. Names are matched against the database of all Haitians.
