ActiveXperts Software today released an update of its ActiveSocket Network Communication Toolkit.
The product now ships with a native 64-bit component. This 64-bit DLL is called ASocketx64.dll and has the same functionality as the 32-bit ASocket.dll, but can be used in 64-bit environments.
There's no change in version number of the product.

SMS and MMS Toolkit 5.1 adds .NET sample projects created with Visual Studio 2005.
The .NET samples require Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0. You must install .NET Framework 2.0, or .NET Framework 3.0 or 3.5, which both include .NET Framework 2.0, in order to run the .NET samples.
There are no incremental bug fixes or new features in this release other than SMS and MMS Toolkit 5.0, so it is not necessary to upgrade if you do not intend to use the .NET samples.
