Cachemov.exe - Windows 2000 Resource Kit Utility

The Windows 2000 Resource Kit includes many useful utilities. Many of these utilities will be familiar to Windows NT Server Resource Kit users. Many other are new in W2K. Many 'legacy' utilities have added functionality. The Resource Kit tools in the Windows 2000 Resource Kit are designed to run on Microsoft Windows 2000 server or workstation computers. The tools in the Resource Kit help you perform administrative tasks, automate software installation, and with other jobs.

Cachemov.exe - Offline Files Cache Mover
This GUI tool allows you to move your offline files cache to a different volume. By default it is created and remains on the root volume. If space is becoming low on the root volume, you will want to move the cache to a different volume thus clearing space on the root volume and allowing Offline Files access to more disk space. To run the program, decide onto which volume you wish to place your offline files cache. Make sure you have access to the volume and that there is free space on it. Then launch the program and select the volume from the list displayed. CacheMov will then proceed through the steps of moving the cache and setting up the necessary security on it.
